2025/2026 Rec League is Underway!
Season - our season will run from November 15 to late February/early March.
Scheduling - we know this was a pain point last season; you will know your general schedule for the entire season before games start.
TeamSnap App - We will be utilizing the TeamSnap App for better league and team communications. Coaches will also have access to a library of content to help develop practice plans for their teams.
Sponsorship - if you or your organization has an interest in sponsoring the PYBL Winter Rec Season, please respond to this email and we will send information.
2025/2026 Rec Games:
Games will take place at Twin Peaks or Meadowbrook gyms Saturdays from 8am-8pm. Additional days will be added as needed.
Generally, teams will play an 8 game schedule followed by playoffs
Poway Youth Basketball League
For over forty years the Poway Youth Basketball League has been providing an excellent opportunity for boys and girls to learn about and enjoy the wonderful game of basketball. Over the years, the league has continued to grow and now serves nearly 600 boys and girls, ranging in ages from early elementary school through high school. The league strives to maintain as its primary goal, to provide a fun, safe, recreational environment to play basketball.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of Poway Youth Basketball League (PYBL) to provide and promote a safe, recreational basketball program for the youth of Poway and its surrounding communities. To this end, PYBL encourages good sportsmanship, developing strong playing skills, and promoting friendly relationships among the players, coaches, referees and parents.

Titans Academy
We have started a weekly skills clinic for all players to participate called Titans Academy, which we will continue along with our Club and Rec programs throughout the year. For the summer, Titans Academy is a low-commitment opportunity for your player to participate and get better throughout the summer.
Rec League
Rec League is played in a fun and supportive environment. Our main rec league is during the Winter, however, we are exploring other seasons to hold Rec League
Titans Club
We form competitive teams beginning in 3rd grade. Our goals are to develop skills to compete at a high level and have fun while doing it.
Champions League
Champions League is for all those players with special needs, disabilities, and other challenges. Our goal is to provide these players a sense of accomplishment by learning basketball skills and being part of a team.
