2012-2013 President's Message
PYBL welcomes back all returning families, and we ask that you "tell a friend" so we can spread the word about our league and keep enrollment up. Sign-ups are in Oct-Nov, and teams will be formed and practices begin in December. We need a few of you to volunteer as coaches. If you have not coached before, we can team you up with a mentor to make sure things go well. Also, if you are able to make a "sponsor" contribution we will use the funds to off-set our "scholarships" for kids who might not otherwise be able to afford to play. 
Mission Statement
It is the mission of Poway Youth Basketball League (PYBL) to provide and promote a safe, recreational basketball program for the youth of Poway and its surrounding communities. To this end, PYBL encourages good sportsmanship, developing strong playing skills, and promoting friendly relationships among the players, coaches, referees and parents.
Poway Youth Basketball League
For over twenty years the Poway Youth Basketball League has been providing an excellent opportunity for boys and girls to learn about and enjoy the wonderful game of basketball. Over the years, the league has continued to grow and now serves 1000 boys and girls, ranging in ages from third grade through high school. The league strives to maintain as its primary goal, to provide a fun, safe, recreational environment to play basketball.
